CELEXA INFORMATION

Celexa Information

Celexa is an antidepressant from the family of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors

Celexa is used to treat the symptoms of depression. It works by allowing nerves to communicate longer with each other through the presence of serotonin. Celexa helps to restore the brain's chemical balance by increasing the supply of a substance in the brain called serotonin. Celexa appears to relieve depression by increasing serotonin without affecting many of the other chemicals in the brain that influence mood.

For more than a decade doctors have prescribed celexa to help their patients find relief from depression. Celexa is highly effective with a wide range of patients, plus, celexa has few side effects.
